Your resume is still the primary way for a company to vet you and your experience, figuring out whether you deserve a chance within their interview process. To me, this is the most low-hanging fruit of all these steps as the effort here is extremely multiplicative - You make your resume really good just once and then that quality helps you out on every single job application. If you are not 100% confident in your resume, you absolutely need to take that extra time to really polish it and get that 100% confidence.
